• Manage all aspects of civil designs for utility scale ground mounted PV power plants and ensuring all civil designs are code compliant
• Work together with PV system designers and provide inhouse designs & expertise on the following civil and structural features:
• Maintenance and access roads
• Drainage & other flood risk mitigation measures
• Equipment foundations
• Terrain Cut&Fill Analysis
• Trenching for underground cable distribution as well as trenchless methods for cable distribution crossings of easements and ROWs (HDD, borings)
• Define civil engineering-based site constraints and buildable areas for PV power plants
• Support for preliminary technical feasibility studies for PV power plants
• Support in running RfPs, define SoWs & review deliverables of civil engineering service provider for PV projects
• Provide civil engineering support for EPC project management and site teams
• Support specifications / BoM´s for civil work subcontractor
• Assess and interpret hydrological and stormwater studies for design of surface water management systems
• Provide support during different stages of project development including reporting, review of project documentation, and interfacing with clients, subcontractors and management

Your Profile:

• Academic degree qualified in civil engineering
• Relevant work experience would be an advantage
• Ability to prepare reports and specifications and collect and integrate other data and statistics necessary to prepare progress and technical reports.
• A hard-working and flexible individual, a team player, who has great attention to detail, is reliable, shows initiative and is proactive and able to deliver to project deadlines.
• Ability to work with other engineering disciplines, company management, clients and vendors in a professional way

Required Skills:

• Proactive team player with a high degree of self-management, assertiveness and dedication to the task at hand
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn
• Proficient in AutoCAD / Civil3D
• Autodesk Robot Structural Design Would be an advantage
• Competent use of the MS Office 365 environment and of document management systems
• Languages: English is our day-to-day working language. Knowledge in German or any other language will be helpful
