Responsibilities and Duties
1. Execute tasks in collaboration with the marketing team and the creative team
2. Create creative copy for marketing materials, such as ads, search ads, website headers, social media ads, product page descriptions, website content, newsletters, SMS/app push notifications, blogs, and other offline marketing collateral, such as brochures, leaflets, signage, etc.
3. Work on editing, checking grammar, and proofreading
4. Communicate clearly and accurately in a variety of tones
5. Work on research
6. Help evolve copywriting practices, define processes and convert briefs to clear copy
7. Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search results
8. Execute tasks keeping work quality in mind while adhering to set timelines
9. Learn and grow based on shared resources and feedback
10. Take a proactive role and contribute to the team in terms of ideation and suggestions
11. Present work in a clear and compelling manner
12. Produce well-researched content for online and print publications
13. Organize writing schedules to complete drafts of content or finished projects within deadlines & utilize industry best practices and familiarity with the organization’s mission to inspire ideas and content
14. Work with the content production team to ensure timely delivery of materials by following an editorial calendar

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in creative writing, journalism, English, or related field preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent grasp of English language
  • Creative and innovative thinker and planner
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and Google Docs
  • Excellent writing, spelling, and understanding of grammar are essential to the role.
  • Preference will be given to those with Experience

Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

Salary: ₹300,000.00 – ₹420,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Hyderabad – 500032, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
