Reservation Executive

Full Job Description

Areas of Responsibility:

Reservations:

§ Maximises room revenue by utilizing yield management techniques to maximise occupancy and average rate.

§ Records and requests for special accommodations and suite.

§ Maximises room revenues through proper yield management and forecasted call conversion.

§ Increases average rate by training staff in appropriate sales techniques on a regular basis.

§ Provides prompt service while minimising costs to customer by scheduling employees in accordance with forecasted business.

§ Ensures that all special requests are handled appropriately by supervising the accuracy of all future reservations.

§ Pre-blocks all specials request or VIP accommodations accurately.

§ Controls group room block assignments by adhering to group cut-off dates.

§ Keeps Sales Department informed of group bookings status.

§ Maintains accurate room rate control and availability status.

§ Controls and advises of rate restrictions and room availability.

§ Distribute daily VIP list as well as weekly and monthly forecasts.

§ Communicates all hotel information to the Brand World Wide Reservations Centre.

§ Conducts daily (or as required) updates of the Harmony Database Management System and maintains a log book of current status with the WRC.

§ Communicates package plans and promotion summaries.

§ Indicates hotel occupancy through month end report on a timely basis.

§ Provides convention summary on a timely basis.

General and Administration:

§ Assists Front Office Manager and Front Office Supervisor in operation and management of the Front Office Team. Maximises customer satisfaction and hotel revenue by promoting in-house facilities and local information to respond to customer questions in these areas as required.

§ Acquires a working knowledge of hotel, in-house facilities and local information to respond to customer questions in these areas.

§ Prepares reports as requested to develop a more informative database for improved management and decision making and critical evaluation of work activities.

§ Keeps immediate manager promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.

§ Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.

§ Maintains a favourable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote co-operative and harmonious working climate.

§ At all time projects a favourable image of Brand to the public.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹21,000.00 per month
