Your role

Under the authority of the head of unit, the person acts as a librarian within the Partnerships and Transversal Expertise Unit, documentation sector. It offers advice on documentary services, it supports scientific teams in documentary research and scientific monitoring. It participates in the activities of the documentary services within the Institute and participates in the coordination of the activities of the Santécom Network.

Your profile

• Hold a master’s degree in information science or library science.
• Three (3) years of experience as a librarian and/or other relevant experience is desirable.
• Possess advanced skills in documentary research and scientific monitoring.
• Have knowledge of databases in biomedical and social sciences.
• Have experience managing digital subscriptions.
• Possess knowledge of RCAA2 and RDA, MARC21 format, RVM from Laval University.
• Have an excellent knowledge of the Office suite and remote work tools.
• Knowledge of Koha or other SIGB is an asset.
• Knowledge of Zotero, SharePoint is an asset.
• Having knowledge of the health network and/or experience, an asset.
• Possess knowledge and/or experience in the field of occupational health, particularly in matters of maternity and work and/or occupational diseases, an asset.
• Have an excellent command of French and an intermediate command of spoken and written English
