Medical Billing Analyst
Full Job Description
We are looking for a full-time Medical Billing Analyst to provide billing analysis and problem-solving support for our client account managers, monitor the quality, and improve the billing process.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help in achieving the best billing service standards by bridging between IT and Account management organizations.
- Provide problem-solving expertise
- Analyze client billing process, discover provider account level problems, develop effective solutions
- Interpret billing requirements/changes issued by payers
- Build an effective billing error resolution process
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years experience in medical billing field
- Problem-solving skills and creativity
- Commitment to continuous learning, improvement, and teamwork
- Understanding of insurance guidelines including private insurance carriers, Medicare and Medicaid
- Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Ability to communicate and resolve issues with insurance carriers
- Ability to research policies and identify discrepancies
- Experience with Vericle software is a plus
