Location:

• Bengaluru/bangalore
• Minimum 2 +years of experience into US mortgage Underwriting. Must have experience in End to End underwriting on Conventional loans and FHA loans. Knowledge on VA , USDA loans will be an added advantage
• Must have strong understanding of Desktop Underwriter (DU) and Loan Prospector (LP); Must have sound knowledge of Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac guidelines.
• Analyse income & employment, credit strength, property appraisal; check over debt to income (DTI) and Loan to Value (LTV) and all other information relevant to the credit decision process on each mortgage application
• Calculate all types of income (Wage earner/self-employment/Other income etc.)
• Verify accuracy of supporting employment documents, source of down payment/reserves, appraisal value and property title commitment received
• Good decision maker in identifying all types of red flags and Approving or Denying the File Accordingly.
• Analyse the risk involved in approving a loan to determine whether it is acceptable to the lender
• Review of legal documents, if present, to ensure the accuracy & completeness
