This position is responsible for assisting the Occupational Doctor, who will attend to any eventuality when she is absent, so he/she must comply with the requirements established for it.
- Provide support to Occupational Health programs.
- Coordinate Occupational Doctor’s appointments.
- Provide primary health services such as injury and disease nurse care, wound and occupational disease case management, by using medication prescribed and authorized by the Occupational Doctor.
- Perform new hire medical evaluations.
- Assist the EHS team on incident investigations when needed.
- Report situations that can directly impact the health of employees and manages sensitive information related to employees’ health and company data.
- Responsible for maintaining inventory of drugs, equipment, and supplies.
- Promote health care through the Health Preventive Program.
- Manage the program of women in gestation.
- Coordinate the biohazard waste disposal.
- Provide support in First Response Team activities.
- Provide support in transportation of patients.
- Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
- Occupational Health Certification is preferred.
- Requires 1 to 3 years of experience in Occupational Health.
- Knowledgeable in Mexican legislation on Health (SSA, IMSS, STPS, COFEPRIS, etc.)
- High level of ethics and confidentiality.
- Ability to lead and support cross functional EHS teams.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
