Field Sales Agent
Full Job Description
Our company is looking for a field agent/sales executive who will be responsible for managing sales of fruits and vegetables in the assigned market/mandi.
The field agent/sales executive will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers, identifying new sales opportunities, and meeting sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities in the assigned market/mandi.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including farmers, wholesalers, retailers, and other stakeholders in the market/mandi.
- Conduct regular market research to stay up-to-date with market trends, competitors, and new products.
- Negotiate prices and contracts with customers to ensure profitability for the company.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to meet sales targets.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, including sales volume, revenue, and profit margins.
- Communicate with the company’s management team to provide feedback and recommendations on sales strategies, customer needs, and market trends.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all sales activities and customer interactions.
- Coordinate with the company’s logistics and operations team to ensure smooth delivery of products to customers.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service and resolving any customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the fruits and vegetables industry or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required.
