Job Role Description:

The Rigger/Signalman is responsible for the set-up, maintenance and safe and efficient operations of the rigging equipment. He/She is responsible for communications and signalling with the transportation operations team to move cargo onto the transportation. He/She is also responsible for conducting quality checks on the rigging/mechanised equipment.

He/She is required to be systematic and mechanically inclined, in order to use and operate rigging/ lifting equipment and execute operations. He/She is expected to work in rotating shifts and under time pressure. He/She is also expected to work with internal stakeholders to accomplish his/her work.
