Teaching Jobs in Germany For Foreigners

We are looking for a bilingual (English-German) teacher for our German-English nursery (Kinderladen) “Wild Poppies” in the Bergmannstrasse/Chamissoplatz neighborhood of Berlin. The successful candidate will receive a contract for 35 hours/week, including 2 hours of prep time and 2 hours for the weekly team meeting. Applicants must have work experience and have completed their training as a certified nursery teacher or have an equivalent degree or certification.

We are a small, teacher-run group of three nurseries with two directors that manage the three locations. Each team, including Wild Poppies, has three teachers and 15 children ranging from 1.5 to 6 years old. The nursery is open from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Perks include daily homecooked lunches from our on-site cook and regular assistance from volunteers as part of the federal voluntary service program.
